Forever Young Gala

The Forever Young Foundation kicked off their new project, Sophie's Trust, with a VIP reception at O.C. Tanner's SLC store, followed by a sold-out benefit show by Brian Regan at the Jeanne Wagner Theatre on June 28. The trust is in memory of local singer-songwriter Sophie Barton and will fund music therapy rooms at hospitals across the country, starting with Primary Children's in SLC. So far, more than $150,000 has been raised for the project. The foundation is headed by NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young, who organized the gala with his wife Barbara Young. About 125 guests were at the gala, and giveaways were held including a guitar signed by Alice Cooper, a helmet signed by Steve Young and Jerry Rice, a watch and cufflinks from O.C. Tanner and more.
