The Celebrate America Show "In the Miller Mood"

The Celebrate America Show "In the Miller Mood," which brings audiences back to a time when big-band music was topping the charts and patriotism was high, ran at the Taggart Student Center at Utah State University from Sept. 6 to 10. Just about every show sold out, and everything was set up to feel like the '40s. All staff were in costume and war bonds were sold. A special part of the show honored U.S. veterans and troops with the song "May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You." Before shows on the last three nights, guests first enjoyed dinner served by USU catering and afterward, hit the dance floor to a big band playing music by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and other popular '40s acts. The show was established 12 years ago by the Celebrate America Show non-profit.
