2nd Annual Charity Lift

The Kimball Art Center and Canyons Resort hosted the Second Annual Charity Lift, benefiting artists and charities, at the Grand Summit Ballroom at Canyons on Dec. 3. More than 400 guests enjoyed live dance music by DJ Elvis Freshley, along with dinner, hors d'oeuvres, hard drinks and a dessert bar. Live and silent auctions included 48 items from artists and corporations, and those who couldn't be there could bid on items remotely through Ebay. Artist Justin Pok won the live quick draw competition, Battle for the Badami, and Kimball Art Center reached out to the community to help create work a work of art using recycled ski and snowboard gear as the canvas, which was auctioned at the event.
