2011 Kimball Art Center Gala
Photos by Francie Aufdemorte
The Kimball Art Center kicked off the Park City Kimball Arts Festival with an opening night art auction and gala, which raised more than $100,000 for the arts center, on Aug. 4. The money will help fund the Young Artists Academy (YAA), Relevant (artist in residency program) and year-round exhibitions and scholarships. Artwork in the auction included 85 works of art from Relevant, YAA and the festival's featured artists. Both tickets and artworks at the gala sold out, and guests also enjoyed Done to Your Taste Catering's farm-to-table menu and an after party at Downstairs. The Park City Kimball Arts Festival was held on Park City's Historic Main Street from Aug. 5–7.
