More than 6,000 people helped the American Cancer Society raise close to $250,000 at the 2012 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Liberty Park on Oct. 13. This year's emcees were Hope Woodside of FOX 13 and Abby Bonell of Clear Channel Broadcasting, and new national sponsor Chevrolet donned the oval at the park with pink cars, from the classic muscle Camaro to Crossovers. This year's event marked record-breaking individual fundraising records, and this year's flagship sponsors were Weight Watchers, Sun Products, St. Mark's Hospital, Smith's Food and Drug, Walgreens, Tanger Outlets, Utah Department of Health, Rocky Mountain Chevrolet Dealers and Nothing Bundt Cake.
