Kimpton's Hotel Monaco held the Red Party, raising about $17,000 for the Utah AIDS Foundation on Nov. 29. The elegant Paris Ballroom was draped in red, and cuisine was presented by Bambara's award-winning chef Nathan Powers. The theme was "Rouge Cabaret," and the night featured performances by LaRouge Entertainment Studios singers and dancers. Live and silent auctions were held, along with opportunity drawing for additional prizes. Guests were asked to wear red, and prizes were given to the best dressed. The Utah AIDS Foundation was created to empower those living with HIV/AIDS.
