The National Ability Center (NAC) raised $945,000 at the Red, White and Snow wine and culinary celebration at venues all over Park City from March 8 to 10. The events kicked off with "Uncorked!" at the St. Regis Deer Valley, where guests sampled wines in the luxurious setting. Other events included "Wine on the Mountain," where guests explored Deer Valley's pristine trails and later joined an apres-ski reception at the St. Regis, as well as 20 vintner dinners at private homes in Park City.
Red, White & Snow closed with the Gala Dinner & Auction at the Montage Deer Valley. Actor Treat Williams was this year's master of ceremonies, and retired Marine Corps Captain Blake Smith gave the keynote address. Olympic medalist Hatch Haslock was in attendance, and the night saw performances by members of the Doobie Brothers and Boston. Proceeds will be used to strengthen the NAC's military partnerships and programs for Wounded Warriors and make adaptive recreation a reality for more low-income families.
