Rocky Mountain Care Foundation held its charity golf tournament, raising $37,000, at the Eaglewood Golf Course on June 11. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Lee Bangerter, who dedicated his life to facilitating healthcare to underserved individuals as a foundation partner. President and CEO of Salt Lake Chamber Lane Beattie, country music singer Chance McKinney and auto dealer Mark Miller were among this year's 112 golfers. Amanda Dickson, KSL radio news anchor and Rocky Mountain Care Foundation Board Member, gave a speech on giving back and what it means to her at the event's luncheon. Jan Krystkowiak, wife of University of Utah basketball coach Larry Krystkowiak, also spoke at the luncheon, along with Dede Fluette, executive director of the foundation. The Seniors Blue Book team took first place in the tournament. Rocky Mountain Care Foundation's initiatives cover the cost of essential healthcare for low-income individuals without sufficient financial or insurance resources.
