Thriller Snow Dance

Park City Mountain Resort held the Thriller Snow Dance, part of an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest amount of people dancing to Michael Jackson's song "Thriller" simultaneously, at the Town Lift Plaza on Oct. 29. The Thrill the World organization also helped set up 226 other dance events worldwide to help set the record. The total amount of dancers is still being calculated to see if a new record was set. In Park City, about 175 dancers participated and many dressed as zombies and had their faces painted. Dance instructors were on hand, and dancers also enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies. The first two Thriller Snow Dances coincided with the resort's biggest winter season snow totals, and resort staff are hoping for the same this year.
