Union Grill's Anniversary

The Union Grill at Ogden's Historic Union Station celebrated its 20th anniversary with an old-fashioned, summer block party at the Fountain Plaza on July 14. The Grill served hamburgers, hot dogs and tomatoes stuffed with homemade chicken salad. For desert, guests enjoyed fresh-baked cookies, Roosters Root Beer and Orange Floats and Trudy's Poppin' Johnny ice cream treats. Kids played in the Tumble Bus mobile gymnastics fun center and joined hula-hoop and hopscotch contests. Art organization, Nuruture the Creative Mind, showcased art, music and poems from local children and band Working in Shifts performed hit songs.
