Utah Opera's Opening Night 2012–2013

Utah Opera held a pre-performance dinner at ZY restaurant and an intermission reception for the first production of Utah Opera's 2012–2013 season opener, Verdi's II Trovatore, on Oct. 13. At the dinner, Artistic Director Christopher McBeth welcomed guests, along with the artistic team behind II Trovatore, including Director Kevin Newbury, Costume Designer Jessica Jahn and many of Utah Opera's resident artists. During the reception at the Capitol Theatre, VIP guests were served refreshments and discussed the night's performance. Close to 1,200 people attended the performance, and about 60 were invited to the dinner and reception.
