2011 Utah State Fair

The Utah State Fair was abuzz with activity, from livestock petting zoos to demolition derbies, at the Utah State Fairgrounds from Sept. 8 to 18. The food at the fair ranged from exotic meats to sweet treats, including deep-fried candy bars. Kids got a better understanding of the farm-to-grocery-store process with the Little Hands on the Farm program, and artists exhibited their work. Guests also enjoyed Utah's own PRCA Rodeo, horse shows and the UTTPI Truck Pull and much more. On Sept. 11, the fair honred the US military with fireworks after the night's rodeo. Local and national music acts performed, including Fictionist from Provo, KC and the Sunshine Band and Weird Al.
