Utah Symphony Guild Valentine's Fundraiser

The Utah Symphony Guild celebrated Valentine's Day with dinner and dancing at the Downtown Hilton Hotel. Over the past few months, the Symphony Guild has auctioned violins donated by music stores and turned into works of art by local artists. The final silent auction for the violins was held at the event, and guests helped raise about $17,000 for the Utah Symphony. The Utah Valley Ballroom dancers performed, and guests danced to music by Ted Calcara's New Deal Band. In addition to raising money for the Utah symphony, the Utah Symphony Guild promotes music in the community and works with local schools to support music education.
