Utah’s “Greatest Snow on Earth” probably offers more challenges to photographers than skiers. How do you capture on pixels the craggy Wasatch Mountain vistas, the skiers’ athleticism and the talc-like powder snow that make the Wasatch Mountains legend? To find out, Ski Salt Lake challenged some of the world’s best photographers last February to capture the excitement at Wasatch Front resorts, including Alta, Snowbird and Solitude. Here are some of the best of the annual Shootout.
