10 Celebrities to look out for at Sundance 2017

The Sundance Film Festival is coming up in January and celebrities are about to take over Park City, UT. Here’s a few famous faces to look out for:

1. Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston, known for Friends and Cake, plays Maureen Murphy in the film The Yellow Birds, which will premiere at Sundance.

2. Mark Hamill

Best known as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars trilogy, Mark Hamill will appear in the world premiere of Brigsby Bear.

3. Rooney Mara

Fresh off an Oscar win for Supporting Actress in the film Carol, Rooney Mara stars in A Ghost Story.

4. Casey Affleck

Gaining recent attention from Manchester by the Sea, Casey Affleck appears alongside Rooney Mara in A Ghost Story.

5. Sam Elliott

With a long career in Hollywood with films including Road House and The Big Lebowski, Elliott will attend Sundance for his film The Hero.

6. Fred Armisen

7. Lilly Collins

Up and coming actress Lilly Collins, known for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Mirror Mirror, appears in To The Bone.

8. John Cho

Having graced the scene as Sulu in the recent Star Trek reboots, John Cho plays Jin in Columbus.

9. Elijah Wood

Beloved star of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Elijah Woods will arrive in Park City for his film, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore.

10. Nick Offerman

Playing everyone’s favorite character, Ron Swanson, on Parks and Recreation, Nick Offerman appears in The Hero.
