10 Great Dining Options in Park City

Oh, the season is upon us. For some this conjures idyllic, Norman Rockwell-esque visions of a smiling family gathered around a bountiful feast.

For others it conjures nightmares of a scorched turkey, tepid mashed potatoes and a group of misanthropes forced together by blood unions who can’t stop making passive aggressive comments about a contentious election. What I’m trying to say is the holidays can be tough enough, so why make them even harder by cooking?

Park City restaurants, some with private rooms, are spicing things up with special holiday discounts and menus that’ll light up your taste buds and help you take a load off so you can actually enjoy taking some time off work.

Be honest. This looks way better than anything you'd make at home.

From high atop Deer Valley to the base of The Resort Formerly Known as Canyons and up and down Main Street in between, you can find multi-course, prix fixe meals on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Even if you’ve frequented many of these restaurants it’s worth a visit during the holidays as special menus mean you’ll find unique offerings that aren’t normally available.

There are even a couple take away options from Deer Valley Grocery Café and Windy Ridge Bakery if you’re trying secretly impress the in-laws with a special brunch or breakfast.

A list of participating restaurants is below, and you can visit the Park City Area Restaurant Association’s website to learn more. Be sure to call early to make reservations and get all the details on special menu options. Also, check on private room options.
