Salt Lake City’s 15th annual Downtown Dine O’Round kicks off this weekend and runs from September 15th to October 1st. Presented by Nicholas & Company, this foodie extravaganza includes 45+ local restaurants offering specially crafted three-course dinner menus and two-item lunch menus for a steal of a price. If you have ever wanted to try multiple dishes at Salt Lake City’s finest restaurants but haven’t had enough pennies in your pocket, this is the perfect opportunity to indulge yourself without breaking your budget. Options range from gourmet— think Current, Finca, Copper Onion, Stanza, even the new White Horse Kitchen—to casual options—Bocata, Gracie’s, Green Pig Pub, Tony Caputo’s.
Downtown Dine O’Round was created for the purpose of attracting diners to restaurants that they have never tried before, or to re-visit old favorites. All of the classic favorites will be available, with newcomers such as Fat Jack’s Burger Emporium, Rib and Chop House, Lake Effect, Carnegie’s and HSL. All diners need to do in order to participate in the Downtown Dine O’Round is visit any of the participating restaurants and ask for the Dine O’Round menu from their server. This incredible dining experience now offers three tiers of dinner pricing to better accommodate a growing number of downtown restaurant options. Attendees may choose a three-course dinner for either $15, $25 or $35, depending on the cost of typical entrees. Being able to sample three selections at such a significant discount allows for a wider selection of tastes than a single dish. This year, diners also have the opportunity to “win dinner for a year” via a photo contest. All you have to do is visit one of the participating restaurants, take a photo and upload it to Instagram using the hashtag #DineORound and tagging @downtownslc.
