Heart & Soul Music Stroll

Free, family-friendly Music Stroll in Sugarhouse, June 8, 2024 – Heart & Soul Brings Over 40 Bands to Neighborhood Porches for the tenth year.

Join us as Heart & Soul celebrates 30 years of bringing the healing power of music to isolated neighbors along the Wasatch Front, with musical acts performing on 13 porches, driveways, and lawns – or on our main stage – accompanied by a delicious variety of food trucks.

Happening Saturday, June 8th, along Atkin, Filmore and Glenmare Streets (1530 E 2700 South) in Sugar House, thousands of people will walk, wheel, and bike from lawn to lawn to relax and enjoy the food and music.

This year’s performances will range in style from Country to Big Band, from Folk and Blues to Jazz and World Music and more, with groups such as Anke Summerhill & Friends, The Smokin’ Blues Band, Pamela Lind & Almost Country, Marv Hamilton Trio, Pepper Rose, The Buckle Busters, Gene Sartain, Jeppsen Boys, Stratford Street Big Band, and Jackson Jills – to name only a few!

The event is FREE and open to the public, but you can support Heart & Soul by purchasing tickets for prize drawings, including musical instruments, restaurant deals, and various other local treats.

“This event showcases over 40 bands and performers from our talent pool of over 350 performers,” states Ainsley McLaughlin, Executive Director.

Heart & Soul is a 501(c)3 non-profit that brings quality, live entertainment to people who may not be able to experience it otherwise – those in nursing homes, care centers, hospitals, senior centers and other isolated populations especially along the Wasatch Front and also into 14 counties across the State of Utah.
