Event Details

Learn this vintage, fun type of Swing dancing in just 5 weeks – no partner required and lots of fun guaranteed!

BONUS: right after the course, head on over to the 6th Annual Hangar Dance on June 9th, hosted at the airplane hangar in Heber City, to dance the night away with your cool new moves. This fun night is completely optional, but the perfect special event to use your new swing steps!

Schedule: Thursdays 6-6:50pm, May 10 to June 7

Cost: $60/full 5 wk session (save $15!) or $15/single class drop in

When to join: Please join in the first or second week of class (May 17 at the latest)

No previous experience is needed to join this course! Complete beginners welcome.

BONUS: Free practices on Friday nights from 8:30pm – 9:30pm AND we’ll give you 1 free social pass – so much value in one course.

Dance to some of the greatest songs of the 1940s & 50s! We recommend shoes with smooth soles. You will love learning VINTAGE swing.

"It’s all a little crazy.⁠
Sometime in 2020, the world stopped making sense for a lot of us. Between one of the ugliest election cycles the U.S. has ever been through and the most mysterious disease most of us have ever experienced, normal was canceled. We can’t get together with friends, hug our loved ones, be in the room with them when they die. But somehow we have to go on, right? Somehow we have to continue to work and love and laugh. This issue of Salt Lake magazine holds a lot of frivolity, the main one being an extremely silly TV show, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. There I am in a pink fur coat in a car with our cover housewife, Lisa Barlow and her boys."⁠
