Event Details

Live at the Eccles Presents Juanes Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Eccles Theater on Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City. ArtTix is the official source for tickets for Live at the Eccles Events.

Throughout Juanes groundbreaking career, Colombian music superstar has remained dedicated to three essential tenets of his creativity. The natural songwriting of “a soulful poet” (NYT) frequently exploring our capacity to love and the foundational strength it provides our lives, the long-practiced skill of a highly accomplished guitar player, and a deep reverence for the indigenous folkloric rhythms that have fueled the musical culture of Colombia and Latin America as a whole.

Now, as the follow-up to his trailblazing visual album Mis Planes Son Amarte – which earned two Latin Grammys and a 5-Star Rolling Stone review for taking fans up to the stars as a conduit to search for timeless love and past traditions, Juanes brings his guitar and folkloric passions back with his latest album “Más Futuro Que Pasado”.

One of Colombia’s greatest cultural exports that have woven its way into the musical fabric across the Americas is the propulsive rhythm of Cumbia. Now, with much of the world once again opening its ears wider to the sounds of Latin music, Juanes is extending a global invitation for all to delve and dance even deeper.
