For the 31st year in a row the Road Home is holding The Great Chili Beach Bash to help wipeout homelessness. This spicy event will take place Wednesday, September 13 from 5:30 – 9 pm at the Salt Palace, 100 s West Temple, Salt Lake.
16 of the best restaurants along the Wasatch Front are providing chili, breads, salads and desserts for families to taste and judge. Awards will be given for “People’s Choice,” “Judge’s Choice” and “Most Original.” You check out list of participating restaurants and purchase individual tickets for $42 or tables for $300 here. Proceeds from this event go towards fighting homelessness.
This year’s event will include entertainment from Rejuvenation Party Band, Kuapani Pua Dance, Municipal Ballet Co. and Odyssey Dance. The supervised children’s corner will entertain kids with bounce houses, face paint, Scales and Tails, games and more. A silent auction will also be held with prizes including Lady Gaga tickets and trips to Maui and San Francisco.
