Meet the crew behind Highpoint Cider - New England born & raised boys that went west in search of champagne powder and are living out the age-old tale of ski bum entrepreneurship: quit your day job and pursue your passion. The Victor, Idaho based cidery is going to be in town to celebrate their expansion into the Utah market!
Scion Cider Bar will be hosting our neighbors to the north & featuring tallboys for $9 of their delicious staple ciders:
TRANSPLANT: A traditional semi-dry modern New England style cider. The Transplant is a smooth, slightly cloudy, and unfiltered homage to the New England tradition of small batch cider and to the skiers of Maine, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont who venture West in search of new beginnings, community, and champagne powder
SPUR: A session cider, infused with ginger, quickly gives a kick while maintaining a clean, crisp finish. A refreshing cider that pairs well with spicy foods, big mountain ascents, breathtaking scenery, and good company.
TRAM-LINE: A dry-hopped masterpiece, crafted with Mosaic hops, this is the bright and citrus-y cider that beer drinkers have been waiting for and cider drinkers were left wanting.
Boozy cupcakes featuring SPUR ginger flavors will be available from Sweet Vinyl Bakeshop as well!
Available only via DABC Special Order currently, Highpoint will be featured at Scion Cider & at other bars around SLC over the coming weeks / months!~
