During the month of April, The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome is partnering with the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, the Sorenson Legacy Foundation and FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention®, to launch the Play for Prevention Initiative. Play for Prevention is focused on engaging individuals, businesses, and communities in joining together to create awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month by encouraging Utah communities, parents and childcare providers to celebrate kids through engagement and play. Studies show that spending quality time with your children builds safe, stable and nurturing relationships that lead to positive outcomes throughout a child’s life.

Join The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome and FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention® to Play for Prevention in the KidCon area of FanX® Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
