The Utah Chapter of the FSHD Society, the world’s largest research-focused patient advocacy organization for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), is holding its first-ever Walk & Roll to Cure FSHD in the Salt Lake City region.
The event advocates for public awareness and is raising funds to support the Society’s work. FSHD is among the most prevalent of the
nine primary types of muscular dystrophy affecting adults and children.
There will be free activities, including lawn games, face painting and balloon twisting, as well as a free breakfast and prizes from local sponsors.
