Description
The Brigham City Museum of Art and History is presenting the exhibition Zhi Lin: Tracing Chinese Workers' Footsteps to Promontory Summit to celebrate the sesquicentennial of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad. The exhibition features sketches and paintings by Zhi Lin, an internationally-acclaimed artist.The exhibition opens March 23 and continues through June 15. Admission is free. The museum is located at 24 North 300 West. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
On April 20 at 3 p.m., artist Zhi Lin will give a talk about his art. On May 4 at 3 p.m., the Old Glory Vintage Dancers will demonstrate and provide instruction of historical dancing. On June 10, the museum will be open 6 to 9 p.m. with a historical fashion show of 18th to 20th century clothing at 6:30 p.m.
