Farm to Glass: Provisions

We’re offering snapshots of the libations competing in Salt Lake magazine’s annual Farm to Glass Cocktail Contest, here’s Provision’s cocktail.


The Farmers Daughter

Place in shaking tin:

  • 1/3 cup fresh sweet corn
  • 1/4 roasted beet
  • .75 oz fresh lime juice
  • .75 oz raw sugar simple syrup
  • Muddle for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Add in same tin,
  • 1.5 oz of ransom old tom gin
  • .25 oz Benedictine
  • 1 pinch of smoked salt
  • 1 dash habanero bitters
  • 1 egg white

Dry shake ingredients to froth the egg white. Then add ice and shake again. Double strain into a martini glass and garnish with 6 drops of sage bitters and cayenne pepper.
