Salt Lake’s own The Heavy Metal shop is celebrating its 30th year of “peddlin’ evil” and is pulling out all the stops for the anniversary party.
From its start in 1987, owner Kevin Kirk has provided all Salt Lake and beyond a hot spot to find, listen and buy not only the best heavy metal, but other great music genres as well. The Heavy Metal shop is local shop ran and occupied by people who truly love music. The anniversary party will be held this Sunday, July 2nd, at The Heavy Metal Shop from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be live entertainment from local heavy metal darlings DARKLORD, Michael Dean Damron, Matt Woods, WhiskeyDick and even an appearance from KRCL fan-favorite and local celebrity Bad Brad Wheeler.
