All Utahns are likely familiar with Ogden’s reputation as an eclectic mish-mash of indie artists, be they musicians, visual artists, dancers or any combination of the above. The best way to experience that mish-mash is by attending the annual Ogden Arts Festival happening this weekend at the Ogden Municipal Gardens and Amphitheater, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 7 p.m. This interactive community event includes an ever-growing list of artists’ booths, musical performances, art demonstrations, graffiti walls, skateboarding, food trucks and even activities for the kiddos they’ve cleverly branded “ARTivities.”
The event is free to the public, but make sure to bring cash (or sometimes cards) to buy food and all the art your heart desires. The event is conveniently located next to Historic 25th Street, so there’s a bunch to do (and drink *wink*) after you’ve had your fill of art, or maybe just your fill of the outdoors.
