Pinners Conference and Expo finds the perfect home in Salt Lake

There seems to be a convention for everything these days. Are you a comic book lover? Salt Lake Comic Con. Outdoorsy-type? The Outdoor Retailer Winter Market. Gluten-adverse? The Gluten Free Expo. Now, DIYers, aspiring beauty experts and chefs-in-training can get their fix at the Pinners Conference and Expo. Inspired by the website Pinterest, the conference is ready for the expansive user base of the Pinterest-obsessed. The conference will be held Friday and Saturday, November 4-5 at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Admission is as follows:

  • Admission and Expo shopping – $7
  • Admission & 2-class wristband – $15
  • Admission & All-day classes – $29
  • Admission & 2 days of all classes – $49
  • VIPinner – $99

Once there, peruse booths from over 200 businesses in the realms of DIY, crafts, weddings, childcare, cooking, photography, party planning, nails, scrapbooking, holiday décor, clothing, jewelry and more. The real draw, though, is the expo’s offering of nearly 100 classes from Pinterest favorites. Presenters include Jordan Page, Kristin Smith and Heidi Swapp, The Six Sisters, The Beauty Scoop and more.

Pinterest-enthusiasts who will not be able to make the trip to downtown Salt Lake City have the opportunity to live stream the event this year as well. An online two-day pass will cost you $39, but provides participants with a number of specially-chosen online classes.
