The relatively unknown sport of axe throwing is starting to sweep the US with over 20 locations nationwide. But how did this Viking pastime infiltrate the mainstream? You can thank Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa. Known for playing the vicious Khal Drogo, Momoa’s video went viral and had many, including Social Axe Throwing’s co-owner Brayden Floyd, asking, “how do I get in on this?” Social Axe Throwing in Ogden brought the business to Utah as the first axe throwing location in the Beehive state.
