Icelandic singer/songwriter Ásgeir is excited to be back in the United States. The recent release of his sophomore album, Afterglow, will soothe you with a combination of his melancholic voice and electronica. He’s taken a step back from the acoustic, folky tones on his debut album, In the Silence and instead is bringing together the icy electronic shades of Bon Iver, James Blake and Anohni. You can come and experience Ásgeir on Friday, September 15 at 9 pm at The State Room.
