Preview: Incubus at USANA with Jimmy Eat World and Judah the Lion

My old high school heart went all aflutter when I learned that Incubus and Jimmy Eat World were making a tour stop in Salt Lake City.

As someone who fancied herself an alternative goth in her younger years (or as goth as one can be in a uniform requiring khakis and polos), both of these bands spoke to my teenage angst while also giving me some requisite “cool points” with the music crowd at my high school as Incubus hails from Calabasas, CAmy old stomping grounds.

I’ll be transported right back to those days this Wednesday, August 9th, when both bands take the stage, along with Judah the Lion, at Usana Amphitheater in support of Incubus’s recent studio album, 8.

If you’re interested in reliving (or just living) this experience with me, tickets are still available for purchase here. I’ll probably be the one wearing black and beaming like a little school girl.
