Tuesday Nights Just Got Real at Deer Valley and Stein Ericksen Lodge

Nobody likes Tuesday. It’s practically still Monday, but that cathartic, communal “We all hate being back in the office, so let’s mostly just eat lunch today” mentality has worn off, and you have to actually get things done.

Plus the weekend is still like 900 days away. Well, not anymore! Tuesdays are hitting the big time at Deer Valley and Stein Ericksen Lodge. Stein Ericksen Lodge is in the midst of their annual tradition Hops on the Hill, which pairs craft beers with food and free live music every Tuesday, while Deer Valley Resort is offering extended mountain biking lift operations as part of the Twilight Ride Series four select Tuesdays this summer.

We’ll start with Hops on the Hill, which takes place on Stein Ericksen Lodge’s gorgeous outdoor deck every Tuesday evening from July 12th to August 16th. Starting at 5:00 p.m. there is a beer tasting and food pairings featuring award-winning craft breweries and delectable creations from the Stein Ericksen Lodge’s acclaimed Chef Zane.

Tickets for the tasting with food pairings are $40 and are available day of, but the live music that kicks off at 6:00 p.m. is free for all. Plus there’s a cash bar in case you missed out on the tasting but want a nip of the craft beer goodness. There are new breweries featured every time, including Red Rock Brewing and Epic Brewing Company plus music by Gara Tada on Tuesday July 19th.  Visit their website for a full schedule of breweries and performances.

And for the gravity fueled bike enthusiasts, Tuesday nights just turned into the best night of the week, as they’ll be running Twilight hours from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on four select Tuesdays, July 26 and August 2,16 and 23. Lift tickets for the 4-7:00 p.m. twilight hours are only $17, and they’ll be utilizing rider turnout to gauge whether or not to have more extended hours next summer. So rally your friends, and get out there to show Deer Valley we like to ride after work!
