Join us for Objects to Remember, a bilingual, hands-on workshop led by artist and educator Sara Serratos. Through three-dimensional techniques and materials provided by UMOCA, participants will create artworks inspired by personal objects that hold deep emotional significance. Whether it’s a letter, a keepsake, or something that evokes a distant place or loved one, these objects serve as vessels of memory, identity, and connection.
Open to all ages and backgrounds, this workshop invites participants to reflect on who they are, where they come from, and where they are going. No prior artistic experience is needed—just bring an open mind and, if you’d like, a meaningful object that sparks a memory. Spaces are limited to 35 participants, so RSVP to secure your spot!
