A USU Extension Assistant Professor in Wasatch and Summit counties focused on horticulture. His educational background includes a B.S. in Genetics from BYU (research on Penstemon) and an M.S. in Horticulture from Washington State University (research on Sweet Cherry breeding).
A few of his interests (not necessarily his strengths!) include heritage fruit trees and other perennial crops, plant breeding, native plants, plant dyes, and all things home-gardening.
