Free, Family-friendly Music Stroll in Sugarhouse, June 8, 2024 – Heart & Soul Brings Over 40 Bands to Neighborhood Porches

For the tenth year, Heart & Soul, along with the neighbors surrounding the Imperial Park, will present our incredible, free, one-day music festival.

Over 40 musical acts will perform on 13 porches, driveways, and lawns—or on our main stage—throughout this Sugar House neighborhood (along with an ocean of food trucks). Join us as Heart & Soul celebrates 30 years of bringing the healing power of music to isolated neighbors along the Wasatch Front.

The joy happens Saturday, June 8th, along Atkin, Filmore and Glenmare Streets (1530 E 2700 South) in Sugar House, as thousands of people walk and bike from lawn to lawn to relax and enjoy the food and music.

Some of this year’s performers include: Anke Summerhill & Friends, Blue Sage Band, Bonnie & Wayne, Denver Street Irregulars, Dusty Roses, Everbloom, Gene Sartain, Good Lews, Jackson Jills, Jeppsen Boys, Katie Ainge, KinderMusik, Ky & The Jellies, Mav Hamilton Trio, Molly In The Middle, Mustang Alley, Ol’ Skool Flava,Pamela Lind & Almost Country, Pat & Roy, Pepper Rose, Randy Teal, Redfeather, Royal Heritage, Savory, Silver Tongue Devils, Steve Bassett Band, Stratford Street Big Band,The Buckle Busters, The Offbeats Jazz Band, The Smokin’ Blues Band, Therapy By Proxy, Three’s A Crowd, Way Cool Band and MORE!

The event is FREE and open to the public, but you can support Heart & Soul by purchasing tickets for prize drawings, including musical instruments, restaurant deals, and more!

“This event showcases over 40 bands and performers from our talent pool of over 350 performers,” states Ainsley McLaughlin, Executive Director, a 501(c)3 non-profit that brings quality, live entertainment to people who may not be able to experience it otherwise. Community members and organizations are great supporters of Heart & Soul’s mission of bringing music and performer arts to nursing homes, care centers, hospitals, senior centers and other isolated populations from Ogden to Provo and beyond.”
