“Buon vino fa buon sangue”—this popular Italian proverb, which translates to “good wine makes good blood,” echoes the attitude that a glass of wine with dinner (or even a couple glasses… we won’t tell) is good for your health.
To get your fill of buon vino and Italian fare, head to Cafe Trio for a five-course Tour of Italy Wine Dinner on Wednesday, February 22. The casual but elegant restaurant will be serving fine Italian food and wines from every part of the country. Prices are $35 for food and $30 for wine.
