World-renowned chefs return to Riverhorse on Main for The James Beard Foundation’s “Celebrity Chef Tour” September 24th, featuring Riverhorse on Main Chef Seth Adams and a star-studded cast including Bernard Guillas, executive chef of La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club; renowned chef Tiffany Derry, a frequent television personality; Jodie Rogers, director of food & beverage for Deer Valley Resort; Charlie Perry, owner of Eva’s and Eva’s Bakery and Robert Valaika, co-owner and executive chef of Shabu.
Seth Adams has been at the helm of Riverhorse since 2004, keeping guests happy with a mix of creative and expressive dishes including long-standing favorites such as Macadamia Nut-Crusted Halibut and the Trio of Wild Game.
Bernard Guillas, executive chef of the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club, is the author of an award-winning cookbook, “Flying Pans.”
Derry, a Season 7 finalist of Bravo’s Top Chef, founded the award-winning Private|Social in Dallas in 2011, and is a spokeswoman for the Art Institute’s Culinary Arts Program and a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
Jodie Rogers recently took the helm of Director of Food and Beverage for Deer Valley Resort, overseeing 11 restaurants at the Resort.
After building a career in San Francisco, Charlie Perry returned to Utah to open a small plates restaurant in Salt Lake City. Eva’s and Eva’s Bakery are award-winning staples of the Salt Lake restaurant community.
Shabu Chef Robert Valaika has been immersed in and committed to developing his own style of Asian Fusion cuisine for the past 20 years.
Launched in 2004, the Celebrity Chef Tour brings the experience of dining at New York City’s historic James Beard House to cities around the country, providing guests with the opportunity to interact with participating chefs while enjoying the nation’s finest restaurants.
