Come out and experience a day in Brazil without even leaving Salt Lake at the 13th Annual Utah Brazilian Festival. This free cultural experience is brought to you by Viva Brazil Cultural Center, a non-profit organization, and Tucano’s Brazilian Grill and will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gateway Mall on Rio Grande between 100 south and 50 north.
This fun for all ages festival will kick-off right with the Samba Carnaval Parade, where drummers and dancers from the high energy Samba Fogo will dazzle everyone with colorful costumes and rhythmic percussion. Be prepared to dance and eat your way through Brazilian culture with musical guest Rick Lobato, Batuke Brazil Band, and Utah’s own BR7 and Brazilian Roots along with delicious Brazilian cuisine.
