Join two-time Olympian and independent alpine ski racer Megan McJames at O’Shucks Bar & Grill in Pinebrook for her annual Follow Your Dreams fundraiser this Thursday, November 3rd from 6-9 p.m. Guests enjoy heavy appetizers and live music, while all proceeds from the cash bar and silent auction support Megan’s training, travel, competition and equipment expenses as she independently races World Cup giant slalom this season. Cover is $20; donations of $200 or more receive a signed bib from the World Cup circuit.
“I’m really excited for Megan. She’s worked so hard to pursue her dreams in skiing and achieved many of her goals as an independent racer. It’s remarkable, really. Megan is also such a good role model for youth in her local community. The fundraiser on Thursday will be a great celebration of those things,” said Marina Knight, T2 Foundation Director, a Park City based non-profit that supports elite athletes and works with youth around the country. The T2 Foundation has been McJames’ primary sponsor for over five years.
